Well, I'm not entirely sure what to do now. I was going to sell this phone on Ebay UK tonight then suddenly the internal TFT started playing up. It's colour reproduction has just gone right downhill. It looks like what happens when you try and display a 24-bit colour image on a T68i (8-bit/256 colours), with all the colour banding, etc. Sometimes it's fine, sometimes it's a bit worse, sometimes it's just atrocious.

Any suggestions? The phone isn't that old and I was only going to sell it because I didn't use it that much and there was no point in owning an expensive phone otherwise. I might book it into a service centre but I lost the box and receipt (sometimes manufacturers don't mind though - Nokia usually don't).

I don't know my Samsungs as well as my Nokias... :(

No, I didn't do anything stupid to it. It just stopped working when I opened it yesterday.

Anyway it's not the screen I think. It's one of the controllers/processors for the display, since the phone functions fine but some of the fonts and icons are actually displaying incorrectly (they are coming out 'slantly' - like extremely italicised, when they shouldn't) - as well as the colour banding. I'll put some photos up later on to explain better. I think I'll take it back tomorrow to a phone store and hope I can get it fixed (I have no proof of purchase though...)
