would my 8801 work in dubai?

hi guys, i am a 8801 user and would be visiting dubai (uae) very shortly.
was wondering if my 8801 would be able to function in dubai since it is 850 and not 900?
any help would be appreciated.

i guess they use 1800mhz in dubai so ur phone should work..
