Who's getting the Wii?

Has Nintendo excited you enough with their latest console to make you want it?

Have you pre-ordered yours yet? (If so where?)

Are you going to try and get it there and then (without pre ordering, just trying your luck on stock availability)

Will you get it later on when it gets cheaper?

Or do you just plain don't see its appeal?

Just interested to see what the current opinon/interest is in the Wii.

RRP is £179 for UK when it comes out I think (saw an add on myspace), I guess that's not too bad for a brand new console out. I can't see the price dropping by a huge amount soon after it's out, maybe £150 after a decent amount of time.

I owned an NES, Gamebody, GBA and an SNES. Nothing past that.

I love games Nintendo makes. And I love the new motion technology. One reason I'm on the fence about buying one is something I read. And I totally agree with it.

Nintendo makes *awesome* games. But their 3rd party games are severely lacking. Like on the DS. Or Gamecube. Or even N64.

So I might get one, just because it's cheap, who knows.. I like Nintendo, and I really think they're doing a good thing (hardware wise).

Lol this won't come down in price until August 07 at least - may get extra bundled games but remember the SNES, NES and DS took forever to drop (as Nintendo don't charge the earth for consoles just the games)
