Does anyone know of any free or cheap AIM apps for the Nokia E61 (s60 v3), or that will work on it even if it wasn't made for that. I'm sick of IM+ not working and Agile being intermittent (especially with AIM which I use A LOT). This is really starting to annoy me because I've searched the internet like crazy and haven't found ONE free GOOD (LIVE) AIM application. EQO sucks btw, it's just not the same. I'd be willing to pay $10, maybe $15 for it. but $30!?? Or even paying MONTHLY? That's just absurd. There's a lot of good free apps, this one should be included.

Speaking of instant messaging, my phone supposedly have support for IM. How in THE WORLD do you set it up (LOL)?

Thanks for listen to my "WELL THERE SHOULD BE" rant.

I'd sure like to know that, too. I had asked someone whether the built-in IM thing worked for AIM but was told "no". But I don't really know whether it's true. Seems kinda silly to have an IM client on the phone that doesn't do anything.

Yeah I really wish the IM client on the phone were configurable for AIM!!

agile is the best app that i have used, but if you don't want to pay the monthly fee then im+ is the next most sophisticated app. If you are cheap like me then you are left with mig33 and yehba which are java apps which are free and available from getjar.com
