T610 Short on Memory?

Right, now my brother wants a T610 as well, which is probably a good thing as he's come up with some questions I never thought of...

The phone has 2mb, what he'd like to know is if you can delete some of the built in themes and games to reclaim some of that?

Also, what is this memory used to store?
Java/Mophun games?
Phonebook?
Photos?
Themes?

Any help appreciated.

I personally own a T300 but my mates got a T610. Ive had a fiddle around with it once or twice. It uses centralized memory if im correct so everything is stored in that 2mb. Also, some of the content it comes with can be deleted and some cant.

On my T300 you could delete all the games except one and all the pictures, ringtones etc.

Supposedly there is some trick to getting all the extra stuff removed. Something to do with taking the battery out after the master reset has been running for so many seconds.

That frees up a lot of ram that you couldn't get to otherwise, i think. Sounds a bit risky to me, though.

If any of you own a T610, is the 700k enough, or do you find yourself needing more?

PS, are SE planning on bringing out a replacement for the T610 for christmas, or are they going with the T610? Don't fancy the idea of my phone being trumphed just months after I get it...

The main "Memory Status" in the T610 lists the memory as using: sounds, pictures, themese, MMS (inbox, unsent, sent, templates), and games. I think the calendar, phonebook and sms memory have a set memory size from this 2mb, cos they all have their own memory statuses, for eg phone mem can store a max 510 numbers.

I found that the mem was definitely not enough for the amount of photos i take, so i've managed to delete almost all the preinstalled items. Only things that weren't deletable were 2 very small images (flower & rose), classical theme, and minigolf... i haven't deleted any of the sounds yet tho.

Just another question, a friend of mine just got his T610, but his didn't get any of the preinstalled themes i got (deep ocean, magma & nocturne). Did later released T610s not get some of the preinstalled stuff?
