How to get mp3 ringtones on LG Chocolate?

I read on LG's site that the phone can do mp3 ringtones but where do you exactly go so that you can set a mp3 that you have to be the chocolate's ringtone?

Yeah, how do you set your music files as ringtones? I've been trying to figure that out ever since I got the phone and have been unable to do so. Please help!!

I was reading another forum and I found this much.. hope it helps

A guy went straight to the Verizon store and said "Hey, how can I get around this not being able to set MP3's as ringtones? The employee gave him two urls, one for a converter, and one for bitpim. He said to use the VX8300 settings for the chocolate and that they should work, then he showed him what ringtone MP3's he made for his own phone. He said he went home and tried it and it worked. Let me know.. I just bought a chocolate but I don't wanna screw it up until this is confirmed further... b/c I won't be able to fix it..haha! Good Luck..:cool:
