v3i keypad backlight problem??

my razr v3i`s keypad doesnt light up what could b the problem that cover when closed workls but when phone is opened the backlight doesnt go on.. what can i do to solve this problem????

Does the keypad backlight go on if you press it?

I've heard something about the light sensor controlling the backlight on the V3. Its there to save battery power apparently, and sometimes there's a bug in the phone where it doesn't work and it switches backlight off.

If none of the other guys find a solution to your problem, I suggest taking it back to where you bought it, explain to them your problem. Maybe they can send it away for repairs, or if its a recent purchase, exchange it for a new one.
