I have just bought a Samsung D600 from the Orange online shop. At the moment I am with O2 PAY so I had the phone unlocked at a phone shop.
However I find that my O2 SIM will not work in the D600, I get a 'Limited Service' message and can only make emergency calls. I took it back to the shop that did the unlocking and they too were puzzled. They tried a T-Mobile, Vodaphone and of course an Orange SIM and they worked OK. However with either my own O2 card or one of theirs it came up with the same Limited Service message.
I am changing to the T-Mobile flat rate tarriff which seems to work OK. However I visit Germany a few times a year and want to use the phone with my German O2 SIM so would like to get it sorted out.
Any suggestions would be greatfully received.
