How To Perform Hard Reset dopod 838?

After I installed phone profiles 8 it cause my PDA hang every times when I perform soft reset. Even when I did the Hard Reset the phone profiles 8 still load at start up, so I can't use my PDA phone now.May I know How to Start in Safe Mode or Remove this program or reset to manufacturing setting?

I already tried this:

To perform a hard reset
1. Press and hold the Comm Manager button and Voice Command
button on the device.
2. Keep the two buttons pressed, and at the same time, use the
stylus to lightly press and hold the RESET button.

This doesn't work.

Hi - this is a very bizaare problem, nothing should prevent that Hard Reset from happening(!)... all I can suggest is ensure that this Profile Profiles application (which I've never used before) isn't assigned to one of this buttons you're using to hard reset.

You're sure that's the correct way to reset your device?

And also are you getting anything happening other than Profiles loading when you attempt the reset, eg. the "Hard Reset confirmation" menu flashing into view or anything flashing - your decision, but if it IS this profiles application doing this I'd stop using it...
