360 games - current fave and why ?

Currently making my way through Gotham 3 which is stunning and the controls are uncomprable to any other driving sim..

What you playing and why ?

PGR3, for sure, and still enjoying Fifa 06.

PGR is better than 1+2 don't you think...also fact you can hit the dashboard button for real soundtrack control is also great...

Not a footie fan but my son is - is Fifa a pick up and play, no John Madden/NFL button combos to learn before you can start playing properly ?

Perfect Dark Zero, it so good on Live you gotta try it :-)

Is it that good ? not Live enabled where I am currently so would be playing the normal game..

Is it a good FPS or more strategy - I'm a pick up and play guy who laothes RPGs...to much to rememeber in life already...

Yeah still a good Single Player game, its def FPS not like Ghost recon, if you ever played golden eye on the N64 you will love it ;-). yeah easy to pick up and play, i got mine from ebay £20 second hand well worth it

Hold the phone !!! been chatting about Goldeneye on the 64 to a mate who is picking up a copy tonight....ironic eh ! It was my fave game on the 64 and paved the way for Halo etc....just wish the through the wall rockets still worked on new consoles as knowing the layout really did help you to get thsoe sneaky kills.

Well if it's goldeneye style I'll be getting mine this weekend....

Yeah its from Rare aswell, Golden eye was my fav game to, lol. I would go as far to say i would get xbox live just to play this online, all the best weapons and vehicles this time to :-) and shotting people you don't know hehe.

Dude its sold - well going to get a 2nd hand one anyway..Goldeneye was THE only FPS worht its salt and still holds its own at least 10yrs on !

Need to get live'd up at my new place but as old unit was wired reluctant to get wireless as heard of latency issues..

Need to get live'd up at my new place but as old unit was wired reluctant to get wireless as heard of latency issues..I have my 360 connected to a routed with the MS WiFi adapter and have no latency issues. Oh, and Fifa is very pick up and play, though it can get complex if you want it to.

You're definately talking about consoles only.. The graphics were 3x better on PC FPS games, the controls were 10x better. And we had "live" (online play) back around 95 or so.. :D

Not disputing PC grasphics at all I mean look at FarCry etc.... but at the end fo the day Goldeneye rules the roost - one of the very few games that feels as good today as it did back then,,,

Yeah I played that on a friend's console once, it was pretty good fun. But is it really worth getting my own with the wii coming out?

ye id se so. i dont really recommend the wII but saying that every1 has there own opinions and im sure there will b plenty of games that will outshine the 360 so cant really comment. lol

I'm loving Condemned at the moment. It's not the best game by far when it comes to gameplay, but the story is great and the atmospherics give me goose-pimples.
