The only feature on this phone that’s important is the fact that it’s a Hello Kitty phone. All the other stuff, like the 130×130 resolution, 32-chord ringtones and, well, that’s about it. There’s not much to do with the phone other than to ogle the kitty, which is just fine with Hello Kitty enthusiasts.

The phone will be on sale, most likely in Japan, starting this month. But if you’re really into Hello Kitty, you’re already used to importing all your goods from there anyway.

It definitely won't go on sale in Japan because it's a GSM phone.

This model will probably only sell well in Hong Kong, Taiwan and maybe Singapore.

Were it going to be sold in Japan, why wouldn't it sell? Isn't that like the source of Hello Kitty?? Could be like a little girl's first phone...

Coz the Japanese do alot of web surfing/emailing etc. on their cellphones, a big screen with high resolution is definitely a must. Even the cheapest phones (and kids' phones) in Japan now have QVGA screens. Putting a 130x130 resolution phone on the market there is pure suicide.
