There's not much difference in the handsets feature wise, but looks wise the housing is interchangable anyway, you could buy a W700i housing to put on a W800i.

Edit: BTW W700i comes with a 256mb card but the W800i comes with a 512mb card, although you may want to buy a bigger memory card anyway.

I meant after you buy the phone, not as a choice before. If you buy one phone, you can buy the other style housing yourself and change them.

i knew you would have to buy the case after you bought it but as its saying in the list

description
Changeable covers:no
Ringtones: MP3 yes
FM radio: yes
MP3 player: yes
Media players: yes
Games yes
i was reading that as you cant get the cover off or have different ones

It's because it's not as easily changable as how most 'changeable' covers are, it's a more fixed housing, but you can get things like this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270008810345&ih=017&category=75547&rd=1

It isn't too tricky to change the housing.

But, it is easy to void your warranty.

You'd have to be very confident that your phone wont go wrong to open it up and change the casing (thats not changeable for a reason...) for your own.

Yes, in theory you could put the old one back on it it breaks, but then theres the risk of breaking it when you put it back on or you'll break the screw threads getting it back on (something the engineers at SE will pick up on fast).

Out of the two, I'd get the W800i because of the price and extra memory.

Having said that, the W700i just fell to £139.99 when bought with £10 credit (package price £149.99) at The Link's website.

The best phone speaker's I've ever heard so far I say would probably still be the Moto E398, but I'm not a fan of any of the phone speakers. What listening purpouses is it for? One of my mates has this:

It sounds really good, much better than anything your going to get from inbuilt phone speakers.
