This is what will most probably be called the Xelibri 5. It features a sliding keypad.

I suspect that this new line (Autum/Winter '03) will be the last. The first line didn't seem to go anywhere at all.
And judging from that photo, I don't think the next line will, either.

I think the phone looks good...
The color screen is key too.
If they haven't bumped up the feature set, then maybe the phone is doomed...
Otherwise, that phone will have nothing to stand on when it competes against discounted Nokia 6610s and other previously high-end phones that will have more features and similar pricing.
Why doesn't Xelibri follow more from Samsung's example?
I think that Samsung is making the phones that many "fashion-conscious" consumers are flocking to.

Xelibiri isn't really making phones, just accessories that can make calls. Thus the most important thing for them must be design. Features can come later, since most Xelibri owners would already have a main phone.
We haven't heard much about the Xilibri phones down here in Australia. There have been large advertising campaigns for the SL55 and M55 phones, but nothing about the Xilibri's.
I understand that there may be a market for fashion phones, but with the Xilibri phones looking so daggy, I don't think anyone will buy them.

The 7 looks cool enough. And enough like a regular phone.
