Nokia 6230 CPU?

Anyone know if the cpu has been upgraded from the 7250i and the like?

No worries! If all that is in fact true then this sounds like an awesome phone, cos that delay when opening applications on the 7250 and other colour Nokias really annoyed me and if that's still present in the 6230 (which according to that post isnt) then i wouldnt get it!

yeah. i've been playing with works 6600 for a day now. And umm, yeah, im starting to think s60 isn't such a big deal. I think i will go for the 6230.

I use my 6610 radio all the time so having that and a mp3 is prolly all i need any way... oh ya and the cool camera.

The PSP is sounding good. might ditch my xbox for one.

yeah the PSP is looking good. I was going to get an n-gage but then i would allways have to get an n-gage. And nokia just releases to many awesome phones that i would have to pass up on.

So i'm gonna get a good nokia phone that i can update when the newest and best comes out and get a PSP for gaming on the go.

Yeah im surprised that there so many Aussies here too, its good and i agree this is one of the best mobile forums around. One of the best things about Mobile burn is the moderators are nice, unlike other places where they're constantly telling ppl off!

Quick q re: the CPU and the 6230...

I saw a friend's 6600 (pretty funky phone!) today and it has RealPlayer installed on it by default. Does the 6230 have this as well? If I wanted to watch a music video on it, is this possible?

nope it doesn't have real player. but it does play .3gpp files. I havn't been able to find a .rm to .3gpp converter, so i'm guessing we would have to convert the .rm file to .avi then use quick time pro to convert to .3gpp. Which will take bloody ages, so i'm hoping nokia or some one will realease a a straight .rm -> .3gpp converter.
