strange problem in 7250i

hey guys

i have a 7250i which i bought during the last weeek of dec 03. it was manufacted on 09 2003. i have been using it from teh time i have bought and have found not so many regrets.
I have removed the existing games and applications and wallpapers too and loaded some of what i have downloaded from the net. this was done a week after i purchased the phone.

Now all of a sudden, i goto gallery and select a photo and say "set as wall paper" and my phone resets!!! and then it shows the old wallpaper.

Another very very very absurd error was as follows..

I was sending a text message to one of my friends, during that time someone tried calling me.. and after the message was sent, it showed one missed call and then the phone starting ringing... but there wasnt any active incoming call!!!!! i pressed all buttons and it simply wudnt stop.. the display was stuck at 1 missed call.. then i had to forcibly restart my phone.. infact on one attempt.. it dint even restart and i had to pull out the battery and put it it again..

i am scred.. :confused: cud there b a ghost in my phone...

Ghost, nah i'm quite sure there isnt one of those in there, but perhaps there might be a martian, you know with us sending all those explorers to their planet, they're bound to do somethin in return to us :D

On a serious note, i think you'd better take ur phone back, its still under warranty, they've gotta fix it! My phone does strange things too, but its old and so its sort of expected! It freezes and sometimes strange symbols appear when i try to make a call, if there's no reception it will NOT WORK!!! It will just freeze no matter what, its like a fish out of water, just doesnt work! When i was on an island in the Barrier Reef (no reception) i couldn't do anything with the phone cos there was no reception and it would just freeze when i pressed a button!

I have faced the same problems, even in the 3200 which I have It seems to be bug. But neverthe less if I go to the settings menu that does not happen..

I've have silly problems like that with my 6100 too. I can't remember exactly what I did at the time, but the phone has started ringing with no one calling and had to turn it off to make it stop.

Yesterday the alarm on the phone kept going off every 10 minutes as if it was on snooze. I had turned the alarm off, and when it started the display on the phone hadn't changed, no alarm symbols or anything. Pressing the red button, as I do when I want to stop the alarm didn't stop it snoozing itself. Phone had to be turned off again.

Yup, that happened once with my 7250. Before I got it fixed, everytime it rang, there was this really high buzzing tone, instead of the ringtone. And it wouldn't stop, so I used to have to restart the phone...weird
