please help me....

My v3x has been with the store where i bought it for more than 3 weeks now because the lcd internal screen just went blank. It lights on but with no display... I access my phone thru my laptop, its s good thing it has a sync tool. I can receive and give calls using it. The only problem is the LCD display. I called up the store and they told me that they tried flashing it and installing the lastest software hoping that it may work but it did not. The phone was even bought to the motorolla service center but they can't repair it...

Now, the store told me that maybe its the motherboard that has a problem but I told them that if it is the MB then it would not work at all. If its the MB, it should not be able to sync with my laptop or pc. And I think no I really can't use it when someone is calling or if im calling someone.. Am i right????

Please do help me.... They can't figure out whats wrong with it... Ofcourse, the store is trying everything just not to have it replaced... nay!

Do you guys know how much a motherboard cost for v3x?

Thanks alot! your info will be very much appreciated...

Why not just have Motorola replace it? It's still a brand new phone, and it shouldn't be misfunctioning as it is now.

The store where i bought it had given it to motorolla but they pulled it out because even motorolla dont know what is wrong with it...

now, they are still observing it as if it is a patient in a hospital.. its really funny to hear that... they still don't know what is wrong with it..

i will be insisting that the unit must be replace. Especially if the problem is the motherboard. Replacing a motherboard is like replacing or buying a new computer... The phone shouldn't be like that since it is still new right??? I think its a factory defect that just arises when being used..
By the way, what pissed me off is that the warranty they are giving is only for the service of checking what is wrong with the phone, so if there is a part to be replace or need for software reflashing, installing, etc, i will be the one to shoulder the payment for it...

AND...

I just found out that the phone i bought is from hongkong. Its IMEI is not registered with motorolla philippines. Its from hongkong... They told me that the phone can be used here but not all specs will work perfectly since it is really made for hongkong use...

Is this true that if the phone is for hongkong only if it cannot work perfectly here?

Ugh that's such BS! Especially since it's in the same region it should work perfectly!

Keep bugging and bugging them to replace it...you shouldn't have to put up their defective work!
