w800i doesn't turn on, any ideas?

Hi all,

the other day, someone borrowed my phone to switch their sim card into it.
it wouldnt turn on, and then afterwards my sim card doesnt work either, it was perfectly fine up until that point:

symptoms:

remove/replace battery, try to power up, backlight lights up white for 1 second (no logo), then dies.

Any ideas? I should still have a warranty on it, less than 12 months since i bought it, problem is i cant find the receipt ;)

Bring it to your local Sony Ericsson service center, you won't need the receipt.
