Which is the best mobile phone? Decide on practical, looks and features. Only released mobile phones. If the phone your thinking about is not on the list post a reply and tell us.

For their time both the Ericsson R320s and the SL45 were very good phones. I voted T68i because I would say it was one of the best phones of it's period.
T68i.... P800.. one of those two
I would have to say the SE P800 because it's got so many features built in to the phone. Only feature missing is a video recorder
I played with the P800 video recorder.. doesn't work very well at all. Though, it was alpha / beta
Yeah I've read about that beta program floating around the web.
I don't get why SE didn't just release an app for the P800 like Nokia did for the 7650 to let it record video clips

Siemens ME45 or SL45i. In their time, nothing could beat them overall.
Seven-line displays while Ericsson's T39 had a four-line display, typical Siemens quirks like hotkeys and other user-friendly touches, fast Class 8 GPRS on the ME45(MMS Nokias still have Class 6), the list goes on....

i think it depends on what one wants to do with his phone....
if you really need a phone to "phone" there are smaller ones than the p800... but in my opinion the p800 is the most complete phone yet... and it will has this status until the p810 will be announced :)

Sorry gent you are all wrong! It is the O2 XDA, OK so no camera (a la P800) and I am the first to say that it had it's software issues, but it looks good, has a quality screen, has superb features and is just an all round killer device.
Plus I have used one of these thats has been tied into a GPS tracking system and has had TomTom2 installed and it rocks! Complete turn-by-turn navigation, postcode searching, street level mapping and you can do cute things like look up a contact on your XDA hit navigate too and the XDA take you there, HOW CLASSY IS THAT?
You guys seem to have a real thing on the P800 but when the XDA II or even the MDA II, lets face it, P800, its all OVER! The II is faster, sleeker, has a camera and general shows Sony Ericsson that PDA's that are also phones can do it better than phones that wanna be PDAs!! The XDA is a more flexable and diverse package than the P800, OK it's no oil painting, but if you are honest, neither is the P800!
Later folks!

You could well be on to something there with the XDA/MDA II. Definetly got me interested.
But remember it hasn't come out yet, and when it does it would have had a month or 2 shy of a year more than the P800 to improve on the current crop of PDA/mobile's, during which it has taken advantage of the latest/smallest mobile tech to implement, use latest software, etc etc.
It's like comparing the 1st gen of XDA/MDA to the next gen XDA/MDA II... or something... probably a better example out there but my point is still made... I think.
As of this moment, right here right now- excluding all 'coming soon' mobiles- ... well, I'd have to agree with the P800 being the most satisfying & complete phone out there.

OK, what I still stnad by the XDA. I was just saying that I believe that the XDA II will beat the P810/P900 with ease!
But the XDA on it's own is a superb bit of kit! Even though it is actually older than the P800, I still believe that features (cam not withstanding), functionality, longevity and VFM the XDA is well in control! Plus the carkit is better on the XDA than on the P800.
