Verizon wireless for laptop

Does anyone know if there is a way to get out of a contract from Verizon wireless? I signed a 2 year contract for their wireless card/service and it's no where near the speed they told me it was. I was told it would be the same speed as my cable modem when Im in a large city on their map, but its no even close to cable speed. Anyone who can help me?

You could argue to Verizon customer care...maybe they'll offer you something additional or maybe they'll be nice and let you out.

...and you drank the KoolAid...:confused: Certainly they misinformed you, but they have a 15 day trial period for a reason. You should have known or rather tested that the speed was not near your cable modem and then canceled without that 15 day window. Did they misinform you? Clearly...but you had enough time to tell.
