Im torn apart by the N80, N73 and E60/61/70 phones. Im looking for a simple, honest to God, S60 V3 phone.

I've owned a 6680, but sold it because a friend was interested to buy one, and I felt like I could afford to upgrade to S60 V3.
Here are prices for comparison between phones

E60 - 370$ (350 + 20$ price difference between 2G DV RS-MMC and MiniSD)
E61 - 400$
N73 - 480$ (pretend price 430$ of N71 + 50$ for good measures)
E70 - 500$
N80 - 600$

N80 factors I can think of
- 100$ more than E70 / 2.5xMoney I got from selling my 6680
- Blurry 3.2mp camera
- Short battery life
- Clumsy slider and keypad
- Non standard resolution (may be a problem in future against QVGA standard)
+ Good looking
+ small
+ WiFi
+ Good internal Memory

E70
-Kinda not so pretty
-Big
-Dont like screen comparion to N80/E60/N73
-Dont care for qwerty
- Non standard resolution (may be a problem in future against QVGA standard)
+WiFi
+Seems reliable from E-series
+got a camera, unlike N60/61
+cheapest cam phone with WiFi

E61/60
-No camera
- N60 Non standard resolution (may be a problem in future against QVGA standard)
- N61 QVGA, but widescreen, so games made for N73/92/93 will be flipped
- N61 Dont like qwerty keypad
- N60 Purchase of 2G RS DV MMC cannot be transfered to a new phone in the future as MiniSD is the trend now
+ Small
+ Reliable
+ Big screen on N61
+ WiFi

N73
-No WiFi
-Maybe pricier than E70? Who knows.
-Dont know anything much about it's reliability
+3.2mp cam with focus
+Bigger screen
+QVGA standard resolution

So in the end, I still can't chose. I like a camera, but only for "catch the moment" or quick reference picture, but I dont really care for the quality or megapixels.

I want to play a lot of games on it, run entertainment applications with no conflicts like movie players or themes, or GPS, or RSS news feed for weather and stuff.

Dont care for screen size really, the 6680 was enough for me, and resolution is only an issue to take for compatibility in the future.

I do listen to MP3s on my phone, but very rarely, and soI dont care for sound quality.

I dont know of the importance of WiFi yet, though it did lead me to sell my 6680 first, but now I think i'd favor speed of the phone over WiFi.

And finally, im not the type to spend money without a justitication.

So.... HELP!!! :((((

Well, if you don't need the WiFi, I would say go with the N73. It covers all the other bases you want, and is a great multimedia phone. The fact that you want a good media experience pretty much rules out the Eseries, and I think the N80 would be overkill for what you want (unless you really want WiFi).

The non-standard screen resolution is moot because of scalable vector graphics FYI;)

I'm in the same predicament, do all of the mentioned phones have the new nokia web browser? That seems to be the main advantage over older S60 nokias.

if you dont need camera, just like me for my work, the E61 is the best bang for the buck!

- 4 band egsm, edge, 3g, wifi

- 1500 mAh bat

- wide screen

- magnesium alloy case

however once the n80 is below U$500, then i'm going to get it as well, after using e61 with wifi, i think i can never have anothe phone without wifi... nokia browser + wifi rules! and i cant wait once i got VoIP...

If you want WiFi , E70 and N80 so pick your battles with the pros and cons
If you dont want WiFi, N73.

Personal Opinion and reasons:
E60 - Too normal, No Camera, Screen isnt what it should (It should have been Series 40) and it would affect you alot when browsing the internet, Memory card issue.
E61 - It is thin but big, Cheap but mainly produced for business jobs and emailing, No camera.
E70 - Good Keyboard, Camera, WiFi, quite big and ugly.
N73 - Good camera, No WiFi, good MP3 player.
N80 - Alright camera, WiFi, Medium Battery capacity, good MP3 player.

Now all the phones i mentioned do have other advantages and disadvantages, but I only mentioned the ones that you are interested in.

I forgot about that...yeah the 3250 imo is definitely the biggest value S60v3So which phones have the new nokia browser? I thought only the Nseries had new the browser, if the 3250 and non Nseries have the new browser then I'm not seeing the advantage of Nseries at all since they'll never replace my digicam. My buddy has an N90, it's S60 v3 but it doesn't have the new nokia browser, what gives? I'm confused.

N90 is not S60v3, that's why the new web browser isnt there.

All S60v3 phones can have the new web browser, since its downloadable from the 3250 support site.

I was ready to throw down some cash for a new phone, but after finding out that TomTom for S60 v3 isn't available yet I'll be keeping my 6682 for a while. I was thinking of getting a higher end newer Nseries but since I can't understand why wifi is so important when my plan has unlimited data and figure that the latest announced phones won't be replacing my digicam or my HD camcorder. One idea was to let the price drop on the 3250 until TomTom supports S60 v3 but the screen resolution on 3250 is kinda....not as cool as the newer stuff so now I don't know what to do but keep waiting. My ideal phone would be N93 capabilty in 3250 form factor.

Why bother with N93 features if you said yourself the phone's not gonna replace your dedicated cameras? Might as well go for the E60 or E50...

Why bother with N93 features if you said yourself the phone's not gonna replace your dedicated cameras?I need the camera function for work and for general reference snaps. The samples I've seen of the video capability are impressive, I've always found occasion to use the vid capability on my current and previous handsets so this feature will for sure get used. I'm not a believer of qwerty on a handset, I don't need wifi when my plan has u/l data, and I definitely need some type of camera on the phone and i like the twist design like on the 3250. E60 is nice but it doesn't fit my habits. I would like a higher res screen than what's on the 3250 so I'm thinking of N73 once TomTom is compatible.
