oh brilliant nokia really hell bent on screwing people over. what next 9.1 apps will not work on 9.3 due to need of recompilation

It should be backward compatible with v9.1.. ..

Actually, it's quite the reverse, wish apps working in v9.1 will work in 9.3. Symbian used to have backwards compatibility like apps that used to work in 6600 still worked in newer symbian of 6630.. It's the apps/games developer that gets the reapings for this schemes, people buy same product over and over again.. :(

Come on, who care about, I’ll rather pickup OS8.x / 2nd ed FP3 than the OS9 /3rd ed for my upcoming N93 :/

That's just the way technology goes guys, the moment you get something new there's always something coming out better in the not too distant future.

I think its a very positive sign on the success of symbian S60.
