i dont think so. it says it can go up to 512MB.

I have a 1 gig sandisk card in my v3i with no problems. Its about 3/4 full.

When the manufacturers quote a capacity, its down to what they could get to test it with.

For example, the SX1 was quoted as being only able to take up to 128meg MMC cards, but it actually works fine with 2gig cards. Similar stories with the Nokia 6230 (although older firmwares have problems with larger cards).

However, the K750/W800 do have problems with MSDP over 2 gig though, or at least thats what I've heard.

Yah, but a 4gig is generally a no-go. Maybe later firmwares will be okay, I don't know.
