Hi: I've heard about some quadband smartphones coming to the US - soon. No idea when. Company is EurophoneUSA - site does not have any sales details. Phones are small, light with many features. Does anyone have anymore info? Thanks. Rob

I wouldn't expect anything from them soon.

I swapped some email with one of their VPs the other day and got nothing but evasive non-answers.

NEC already has a quadband in the US, and some of the new Mot's are also quadband.

Yes, I've seen those models. I'm very picky - OK, obsessed. I like a phone to be small, yet not a flip (I'm a "little person" & I can't open phone w/one hand). I' want it to have a VGA camera w/zoom and flash yet still be small & lightweight. The Europhones or the up-coming Motorola V80 seems to fit the bill.

Actually, the motorola v80 is quite large at 99 X 45 X 19.2 mm.
