UGH I hate the black around it! Should've been silver! Otherwise, looks nice.

Yeah, I saw it in the CPW brochure.

Making me think of when manufacturers released phones with facias, it wasn't such a big thing when there are different colours available.

Now, I think theyre doing it on purpose that after their sales dwindle, they just change the cover and pretend its a whole new phone.

This is probably why every non tech friend/relative of mine keeps thinking Im getting new phones all the time because I keep changing the covers.

I like it, I have a thing for shiny red things.

I'm actually starting to like red more...

But yeah, I definitely know what you're saying...everytime I got a new faceplate "IS THAT A NEW PHONE AGAIN??" Ugh look at the shape...still the same!

I might get one. My biggest phone based regret was selling my K750i (fantastic phone) and this one looks quite cool :)

Hmmmm red phones seem to becoming more regular - a shame as it'll lose the Motorola SLVR Red campaign some traction...

Looks nice but my K800 comes today so I'll stick to that....

Well at least they're not trying to brush it off as a new phone, it is still a K750i. Not as bad as that W800i vs. W700i stuff (ok, so you lost the autofocus and got a colour change, doesn't warrant a new name).

Still, I like the red colour, very summery looking - it does look like a new phone even though it's not. Not entirely sure what they are doing bothering with this though, I would've thought all the focus would be on the K790/800i now.

Isn't CPW in the UK? Why does the phone have a Chinese HK keypad?

It's a personal thing.

It's Chinese because of the strokes on the keys, those are Chinese character strokes (at least I'm pretty sure they are from what I remember of learning it).

The reason the top one has Chinese writing symbols on it is because the dumb ass's at Carphone Whorehouse have put up a picture of the Chinese markets version. If you click on the thumbnail pictures below it, you'll see no such symbols, as they are press release pics from SE themselves.

Not the first time, retailers regularly cock up their press photos, The Link (where I work) included, especially.
