Been using this and didn't slowed down my computer a bit, since it simply replaces windows skins and icons. The object docks seem to affect performance a bit on my old PC but you can choose not to install those. Cheers =)

nah, dont like any of the Macs. or the looks of it. the only reason i use itunes is because i have an ipod nano.

just downlaod Windows Media Player 11 as that has propper syncing support for iPods.

yes, i read that on the new features on the WMP11 but its still in beta mode. i will wait for the full version to come out. dont trust the betas.

If it does have support for iPod's that would be great because these damn iTunes keeps crashing all the time.

Really? i use iTunes most of the time and it works fine..
i like how easy it is to use and how it stores all the music in the iTunes folder.
But thats probably as far as i would go in terms of using an apple product..

Another vote for iTunes here - I love the instant searching, WMP runs like a dog with my library for some reason (yes version 11 too). I don't use the iTunes folder though, my music has its own hard drive.

Yep, Itunes is the best, mp3 converter, playlists, equalizer=), but I still keep around wmp9(I know it's stone age) to play movies fast and quick.
