View Full Version : Globe Roaming
Does anyone know how much a call and text cost if im a smart user here in the philippines and im trying to contact a globe roaming user in the US?
need help ASAP.. thanks :p
Generally, its the user that is roaming that gets charged extra when someone calls them. You should only be charged whatever the normal rate for calling that number is, so if the number is local to your country, you should be charged your normal rate, regardless of where the phone you are calling actually is.

It is the receiver in the U.S. that gets charged extra, so you should be okay. We had that setup for a little while between the relatives back in Davao and us here in Texas, but the whole reloading became an issue for us here in the U.S. because we kept running out way before they did, so we just stopped.

Now, that's a nytmayr, haha :D. To PCM: I think chatting(with video) via internet is way way better, cuz it's almost free, and you can do it for hours without worrying about the mounting costs... Unless of course it's for serious reasons and getting in touch needed anytime, the roaming will have to pay for the high costs...
