I bought a T630 for use in the U.S., great phone, no complaints about reception.
Then I loaded my contacts, 350 of them with 190 email address, and calendar, maybe 50 entries, via bluetooth (this is well below the limits of 500 contacts, etc.)

All of a sudden, the phone slows to a crawl. I click on a text message and it takes 5, 8, 10 seconds to open. Closing it and opening the next one, another 8 to 10 seconds. This renders the phone completely unusable.

Any one else have this problem? Is there a fix?

I delete all my contacts and calendar and the thing runs fast, 1 second delays, but I bought the phone so I could easily load contacts in it via bluetooth.

Are they that bad at memory handling/garbage collection. C'mon, for $400, this thing should not have these issues.

Mobileburners, please help.

try loading your contacts bit at a time say 50 contacts, see what happens it might work better

easier said then done, the XTND Connect PC software that comes with the T630 is pretty lame. You can do it one contact at a time via a blunt filter, or all of them. i've already cut down the number i have in outlook to get down to 350 for the phone

will try
