w800i getting rid of the vodafone menu

on the w800i, i have put a orange sim card in and have got vodafone live and wap menus etc. if i do a master reset will it get rid of them or is there any other way of putting it to a standard menu thingys?

No, a master reset will not get rid of the Vodafone branding. You need to flash your phone's firmware. Do a search and have a look at the countless other threads about Sony Ericsson flashing.

Vodafone UK don't actually brand their W800i phones (when SE first released the W range of phones they didn't want them branded at all, but went back on that decision for some reason) so i'd be surprised if you had a W800 that was branded! Which country is it from?
