sure it can be fixed buddy...dont feel helpless.. take it to the service center..i bet they can help u out, isnt your phone covered by a warenty?

He said he got it second hand - meaning the warranty is void. Warranty on mobile phones (and indeed most electronics) is non-transferable.

Ugh that sucks. He can still go to the care center, can't he though?

There is no need to worry... Just go to the service center and request them to reinstall the software... Thats it... They will do it even if u do not have a warranty or its expired... If they charge some amount it would be very minimal but the chances are they wont charge u anything...

My cousin's W550's software got corrupt and it didnt turned on, he just gave it at the service center and within an hr. it was done without any amount to be paid and he also didnt had any warranty with the phone... So u see u need not get so depressed, OK???
