I have been using the phone for 2 days on US cingular. The phone was purchased in Sweeden and sent to me. I am comparing this to my previous phone, a Z600.
The phone sits nicely in your hand. The display is nicely laid out and clear, but nearly impossible to see in the sunlight. The Menus are all easily accessable and logically laid out. There is only a second delay in going to different menus. The phone takes 63 seconds to start up and turn on!!! The fonts are very very small, so you may need glasses.
Reception and sound Q are good, about the same as my Z600.
Now, the problems. Here is a copy of an email I sent to SE Sweeden support:
1. Even though UK English is selected and shows in the menus, Sweedish is the language shown in the help sections.
2. The phone keeps freezing when I try to use the sound recorder. Nothing works. I have to pull out the battery and reinsert it to get the phone working again.
3. Bluetooth is a problem:
A. I pair two devices at once, a Jabra Jx-10 bluetooth headset and Palm TX handheld (which I use to dial). The palm will only dial of I turn off energy saver when the headset is also turned on. But the Palm will dial with Energy saver on or off if the headset is turned off.
B. The biggest problem is Bluetooth connectivity. The phone will connect with the PALM for a few hours, then it won't. I still shows the item paired in the menu system, but they can't communicate. The same thing happens with the headset, it works for a few hours, then it won't for a few hours. Turning off the M600I and restarting sometimes restores connectivity, sometimes it doesn't.
