Hey all,

Got a K750i in the post this morning, plugged it in to charge, it came up with the battery charging symbol, moved across a few times and then said fully charged.
I unplugged it and turned the phone on, and it came up with a low battery warning.
The summary of it is the phone says its charging for about 10 seconds, then changes to the charged symbol, but when it's unplugged, the battery shoots right down to 0%, sometimes fluctuating but always staying low.

Any suggestions would be appreciated very much!
Thanks in advance.

Hey,

I tried my friend's K750i battery and it worked fine. Then I tried charging mine in his phone and it did the same. I'm concluding that it's the battery and have ordered a new original one from ebay.

How long should I charge it for to get maximum performance?

Thanks!

Just charge it until the phone says its charged - the battery technology in new phones does not have a memory effect.

Where did you get the phone in the first place? Batteries are covered by a six-month warranty, so you should get a replacement from where ever you bought it from.

I purchased it from eBay UK. It was brand new though from a good seller.

I ordered a new battery yesterday which should arrive tommorow.
I will let y'all know what happens.

Wish me luck guys!

Ok wicked.

So the battery arrived. Wacked it into the phone, plugged the bastard in and it did the battery thing. As I was horrified when it started charging the last bit I thought ahh god dont do this.
But then I watched it every 5 mins or so and on the phone status it went up and up.

So its fixed. I have a working K750i. Lovely. Smashing. Great.

its probably just the batteries problem.
