I would personally go for the E61. Same features, smaller form factor, better keyboard (IMO). Depends if you really want S80 or not. I have an E61 at the moment, its one of the best phones I've every used (and that is saying a lot).

I'm not sure that one is "better" than the other. The 9300i has a wider screen (handy for web browsing) and is probably a more convenient size, the E61 has 3G and is likely to be better when used on the go. Personally, I'd go for the wider screen.

What can you do with S80 above S60?

I'm guessing that perhaps the 9300i may have a faster processor than the E61 (at least there's a lot more room to squeeze more components in).

The wider screen isn't necessarily better, as it is also shorter. I find the E61's wide-yet-still-tall ratio is better, as not only do you get more horizontally, but you get enough vertically to make is useful.

I like the looks of the 9300i... for a person with big fingers, this would be a boon indeed. But for the features, certainly for that excellent screen, I'd vote for the E61.

i recently tried to decide between the two and E60 as well... 9300i is more expensive at the moment, if you need to consider that, that is... and a friend working in a cellphone shop says that many customers returned their 9300i coz of some bugs... to make the story short, i ended up with the E61, apart from the fact that the SW for S60 3rd ed is still tricklin in, other than that the phone is great, specially if it has 2GB miniSD... as for the qwerty keypad use, just give it 3 to 10 days weaning period...

i own a 9300i and its pretty good. decent battery life and fairly good to use. Surfing is a pleasure for it. Apps are easily available

that said go for the e61 from what ive seen of it in real life and brad's excellent review ... it will stand u in good stead and can do everything the 9300 can without much of an issue
