Makes you wonder what they were up to buying any network they could...suppose if they just flogged the 45% stake in Verizon off they could make allot of that back up ?

Well, its mostly an accounting loss, they over valued assets and just writing them off - looks bad, but its not 'real' money, accounting can be really confusing like that!
