I have a dual band (900/1800) Siemens SF65 that I want to use in the US.(1900)

I've asked virtually every retail wireless shop.
The general answer I get is that it is impossible, and even if it is, it's better to get a new phone than attemping to change the frequency since it'll be very costly.
Well, what if I would like to risk it or spend the money?
Might flashing work for Siemens phones, especially this model?
What kind of places should I look into for these information?

I appreciate any feedbacks....

It is a hardware isue. You should consider it impossible unless you are capable of designing and building your own mobile phone from scratch, which you obviously are not since you are asking this question.

Buy a new phone.

Flashing the phone will not change the frequency. It is virtually impossible to change the frequency
