k700 ring tones

Can download sounds to mobile and assign them as ring tones when receiving calls but cant figure out how to assign them as ring tones when receiving texts , can only use the tones that were supplied with the phone can anybody help ?

Unfortunately for the k700 text or mms messages, you can only use ones avaliable that are supplied with the phone, which is a bummer, I can live with it with mine. With newer SE models you can do this.

However there are various tools avaliable on the net that will allow you to do stuff like that, unlocking, firmware upgrade, change tones etc (at a cost though), you might like to check out:

I haven't tried these yet, so I can't say if they do this with ease.

The Davinci Team's unlocker is flipping excellent. It enables you to completely take off all limitations that come with your service provider, and flash the phone completely. It WONT let you change the ringtone for SMS or MMS though.
