T630 reception?

I am looking to see if anyone can confirm the reception quality of the T630 for North American 1900mhz. I am currently staying in a part of louisiana that has new gsm and it IS HORRIBLE OUT HERE! My T616 worked beautifully in Tucson arizona but on average only gets one bar of strength out here if any. I am looking at getting a new phone while i am out here for 8-10 months just for better reception but hate to leave SE. was looking at the nokias and motorolas because from past experience they have better reception (3200 and T720)
any feedback would be much appreciated

I have had many phones on gsm - Tmobile in NYC.
SE- Nokia-motorolla. For my experiences The newer Nokia phones have excellent RF. They hold and get better reception then most. I am very happy with my 6600.This is my experience
