Did they actually use it use it or was it like MI:3 where they had an N92 but didn't show any of its capabilities?

well they used it to do a search for someone(don't want to ruin any point), and thats about it, oh and also the person who 'owns' it in the movie was listening to music. Thats about it, probably around 30seconds of screen time in total.

i think they used it in this movie, along with a few other sony products liek LCD screens and stuff cause sony heavily sponsored this movie I think , thats why they have sony + da vinci code competitions all over, plus the buy a w800/k750 and get da vinci code movie tickets free thing

The premier was also sponsored by Sony Ericsson, or at least the New York one was that Michael attended.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that it's Sony's movie..

Also close to the end of the movie, a p910 or p900 was taken from Leigh's jacket pocket. Did any1 notice that?

I noticed the following phones in that film:

W850i in white on the bus
P910i
Z300

Any one else see any more? They were the obvious one, but I'm sure there was something like one of the J series in there or another Z series one, I'm not sure.

Fairly certain there was another candybar (K/T series?) one in there too, not sure tho.

They did?? Which part??

When the real Lincoln 5 (or whatever his name is) is making a call to the cloning people about his clone being in his house. It's in a cradle and I think he makes a video call with it (Ewan McGregor).

yeah but thats normal. Theres loads of phones in loads of movies now, look at most higher budget Hollywood movies and theres a phone tie in somewhere.

Yup saw that too. I did notice one thing... the screen was bad?

It had pixelation, wasn't that bright, and the letters were a bit hard to read... would th ereal thing be that way too? Or were they just using an unfinished prototype?

cheers!

I dont think it was even the phones real screen, in order to get the info that the director wanted to be displayed without the SE endorsement getting in the way, they prolly CGI'd the display or something, I don't think its a genuine one. Then again I can't remember what the screen looked like, I'm just guessing :p
