My question relates to the strengths of the various PDAs at Verizon. I will be purchasing one in June and am looking for some guidance. I have read the reviews but am a little overwhelmed with all the data provided. A lot of the terms/concepts used are new as I have never had an electronic organizer and have always just had a clam shell LG phone. We use Outlook at work and being able to communicate between my desktop Outlook and the PDA is important. What I think is most important to me with the new PDA are the phone capabilities (reception, speaker phone, ease of accessing contact numbers) and Outlook functions (email, calendar, and contacts). Having never owned a PDA, am I missing the boat on what is important? I will browse the net but primarily just personal stuff like traffic, sports scores, ebay/purchases, etc. No gaming. Based on the reviews, I am leanging towards either the Palm 700 or Verizon XV6700. In the past, I have generally leaned towards a phone with the longest battery life. Any help is most appreciated. Also, if something is coming down the pipe that may be worth waiting for that info would be great also.
Thanks,
