Pantech PG-6200 Fingerprint phone with ‘Urban Cool’
Pantech have announced the Pantech PG-6200, a mobile phone pitched at the business executive, yet descibed as containing a "sense of urban cool." Not sure how many business execs look for urban cool in a phone, but Pantech clearly feels they should! The PG-6200 has biometric features built-in. Specifically, the PG-6200 supports fingerprint recognition to access lock-in keys and memory dials. I can see why business users would find this appealing.
The Pantech PG-6200's "urban cool" apparently comes from the design of the phone. The handset was one of three Pantech phones honoured recently at the iF (International Forum) Design Awards for excellence in the design of mobile phones. Pantech are particularly pleased with the phone's design when folded, which reveals a unique side contour in the form of a smooth flowing curve. Tres urban cool!
