SE T630 & t-zones

Has anyone been able to get T-Mobile's t-zones service to work on a SE T630?

All I get is a blank screen with a scroll bar with slider positioned in the middle when trying to access t-zones; the scroll bar disappears with any movement of the joystick. I get the same results whether configuring the phone manually or installing configuration settings sent by a T-Mobile data specialist.

I get the feeling that this is the same problem that prevents Z600 users from accessing t-zones....

I have been quite frustrated by this same thing, in my case I want to use my SE T226 on T-Zones USA ... same problem.

Yet another reason* to regret my T630 purchase....

Blame T-Mobile.

Their site is not working properly on most any phone that uses a xHTML browser, from what I can tell. There are plenty of complaints from users with new Nokia phones, too.

My guess is they have some errors inthe site that the old WAP 1.2 browsers ignored that are caught by the new 2.0 browsers.

Ok, quick question ... I was about to buy an unlocked SE T630, but am now hesitating because of the problems with t-zones. But, I just checked the spec sheets at SonyEricsson.com and both the T630 and the T610 (which T-Mo carries) are listed as using cHTML and Wap 2.0.

So, I don't get it. Why would it work on the T610 but not the T630 when both are using WAP 2.0?!

when they give you the information where do u put it in, what do u go onto?(t630)

please help i've only had my t630 for a few weeks and i cant recive any of the picture messages anyone sent me...:(

I had the same problem when I recieved my t630. I actually
got the t638? the Japanese model of the t630.

From there goto WAP/Email/MMS

whatever you need set up. Or you can go through
sony erricsons USA page.

I had the same problem..unable to send picture msgs,
unable to go online. Now its fixed. I hope this helps

Thanx for ur help cmorgan but it still doesn't work it is really starting to annoy me now. you would think paying £180 for a working fone would be alright but paying £180 for a fone that doesn't even work is a rip off!!!:mad:

It's not the hp that doesn't work. It's either our settings are wrong or there's something wrong on your provider's site.

The only problem I had with it was to get the settings. It works fine after that.
