finally got a p900

...Yea I know a lot of you out there already have it, and my new news is a bit 'old school', but...I finally have the p900!! So much too explore on this phone. Things that bother me are:

The blinking green light at the top (and the blue one too when bluetooth is on) maybe SE could have made it a little more inconspicuous.

The handwriting recognition irritates me, it says my 'r's are 'k's etc.

Screen, though great, attracts fingerprints, (and cheek prints if I press my face hard into it...so I don't)

And the keylock, not like nokia where you just press menu and press '*'. Here you can only put it on after a designated time (minimum of 1 minute) - So when I want to put it in my leather case, i have to wait for a minute so that no buttons are accidently pressed. If anyone knows how you press a button to lock the keypad, it will be greatly appreciated!

I havn't stumbled over any bugs as of yet, but all in all great phone :)

The jog wheel also have the same meny as the meny button(pull the wheel up and u get the meny) pull and push and u phone is locked.

anyway, the p900 should be out in the US (or atleast in the next few months). It says on the p900 website that it will be released there 1st Quarter 2004

Hello, I've got a question. Um, Is it possible to swap my Applications & Software CD I got with my p900 for a new one @ a SE Care Centre? The one I have now doesn't want to load up, and just keeps on saying something like: "[something something] language=zh was not found, make sure the URL or target was typed in correctly" well not exactly like that, but something similar.

Press and hold the "C" button for silent. Practice and handwriting recognition will work easily. I love the blinking blue and green lights :D

hey abi :), thanks, I really love it. It never leaves my side :D I got it in HK, for HK$5850 which equales 34,000 rupees. Which i guess is quite expensive for HK, but its much cheaper than Singapore, and it was REALLY hard to find one because most shops were out of stock. Haha, I thinks its REALLLLLLLLLLY cool. But I'd wait till the price goes down because its a little expensive for what it can do. So stick with you're 6600 till it gets cheaper! :D cya soon
