I would probably recommend two things, number one, if you are going into real estate, you should probably learn how to use a full stop.

Number two, if you like the form factor of the 9xxx series of phones, and your budget will extend to it, the 9300i is the pick. It has a good balance of features and size. If you don't need WiFi, the 9300 is just as good though.

Just having some fun with you, your first paragraph in your post didn't have a single full stop in it, even right at the end. Made for one hell of a long sentence.

In any event, did the advice help? Do you think you need WiFi and Blackberry push support?

Isn't the MMC slot enough? Or are there things you can't do with the MMC slot?

The 9500 also has the basic integrated VGA camera which may or may not be of use (but given you are entering 'real estate' I would say it could be an invaluable bonus at times).

About using a full stop, I think brad is inferring your grammar is sub-standard and for a market where professionalism is everything it doesn't bode well.

i am aware of the mmc, but the shared mem for 9210i is 40MB, it inlcudes everything that makes you communicator work, compare that to the 9500's 80MB, it solves a lot of the hicups...

ok dont laugh at me but WiFi is wireless connectivity, right ? i still dont know the exact meaning of WiFi and the difference between WiFi and WLan.

if WiFi is wireless connectivity then yeah i would love to have a phone that can connect to my wireless internet, and since most likely im gonna have wireless at work too then that would be just great.

did i use my commas and full stops properly ? damm man i feel like im in college again LOOOOOOOOOOL :)

Americans call full stops 'periods', for those of you who are confused.

Also, the 9300 I have (a British import - 900/1800/1900MHz) has a bad 1900MHz radio - reception is relatively poor next to my other phones. The 9500 is better. The 800/1800/1900MHz 9300 (the version Cingular recently started selling) should be better, as should the 9300i. I will be able to confirm the 9300i theory when mine arrives.

WiFi = WLAN, same thing. If you think that WiFi would be beneficial to you, I would say go for the 9300i, it is quite a nice device in my experience.

I agree...I think the 9500 would be best. While the camera isn't obviously the one found on the Nseries, it's still a camera, and having a subpar picture of the house being sent to your client's phone is better than no picture being sent.

Plus, if I'm not mistaken, the keyboard is bigger and better, along with the joystick/controller.

How ironic that this thread comes up now...more recently, I've been aching for a 9500 (even though it's not gonna happen)...if not get one, then at least see it:p

Well i got my new 9300i last week and its absolutely brilliant! Wifi works like a dream, and if he's in Real Estate im sure he'll have a nice Digi cam for photos, thus rendering a cam in the phone useless anyway.

Go for the 9300i.

yep get a 9300i i delibrately turned my back on my n70 for this wonderful phone and though i really miss vibration at times the otherwise well integrated set of features more than makes up for that.

umm... if you're going into real estate, then Im assuming there might be times when you'll find yourself visiting places that are "undeveloped" or a bit far off from the city or the office. So that could mean that 'normal' phones - will sometimes tend to loose their signals, especially if you're behind a mountain, or ridge, or a remote construction site. And we all know that 1900 doesn't have the 'penetration' power of 1800 or 900.

So why not look at a quadband phone? Like the N80 or E61? That way, you'd still get the PDA functions that you need - and you're assured of strong(er) signals wherever you go.

cheers!

i don't require wi-fi as i have my laptop.
but i want my mobile should have good sound quality, so wanted to know, is 9300i is better than 9300 for music.
and what are the other difference between two?

The only differences between the two are the exterior color and WiFi...that's about it...
