Hey Micheal,

Nice preview of whats coming up in Bluetooth devices. However, for people thinking of buying a BT headset, anything worth waiting for?

I recently bought a Plantronics M3000 (for the battery life) but the BT connection is really bad. For example if I m wearing the headset on my right ear and if my P900 is in my left pocket, people complain of bad audio (chopped up voice & lot of static). Do you think it is a defective peice or normal on the M3000?

The sooner you can advise, the sooner I can go and dump the headset on the dealer.

thanks.

I didn't have that problem witht he M3000 that I recall.

I have a full review of it up on the site. Just search for it.

As to what is new that is worth waiting for? No idea.

I use the HBH-6x series, but if you are looking for big battery life, you have to look elsewhere. Maybe the new Jabra BT250.

I finally got my Jabra BT250 yesterday. I had it on all day today, from 9am to 12:30am. I had had the Sony Eric. HBH-65 but the battery life wasn't really what I needed also the sound quality wasn't as clear as the Jabra BT250. I'm on the road the entire day. The Jabra sounds much better than the SE HBH-65, in part because of the placement of the ear piece, (in ear). The battery is more than great, ( I think I have a head set that out lives my Sony Erricson T616 battery). The only problems is that it is not as comfortable to wear as the SE HBH-65, as the ear piece has direct contact with the ear canal. The standard ear "gel" is too long and it bothers a bit after a while, and the other one provided is too short to keep the headset from moving too much, and thus it dances too much (at least on my ear). I think I'll see if I can find one that is in the middle of these 2 sizes. If I can find one, I will have no complains about this otherwise great headset.
