Which (relatively cheap) phone is best?

I am looking to get a phone through one of the major carriers, and I have noticed that you can only get deals on so-so phones. I don't have a lot of cash to blow on a phone, so if I did go through a carrier, which of these phones is best?:

Samsung VGA 1000
Samsung E105

I know that some of these are crappy phones. Which one is the least crappy?
