View Full Version : Is the 6280 responsive?

Hi, for 6280 owners - is your phone responsive? Like last week I was able to test a 6270, and I find it slow. I immediately compared to my friend's 6630 and the 6630 was even faster. So Im thinking of getting a 6280, which looks the same, but I think is smaller by a little bit. Can anyone tell me if the 6280 is the same speed as the 6270?

It is quite fast, classic S40 in my experience - though you are more than likely to get one with bugs that restarts all the time, most people do.

From what i've read on the forums, the 6280 UI seems to be quite fast, also most of the buggy OS seems to be mainly in the phones on the 3 network . Re-the restarting bug. I also read that a virus can cause the phone to restart. Maybe thats the problem and that people have downloaded a virus in a App without knowing?

Since this isn't a smartphone, you can't get a virus...

The ones you're referring to only apply to S60 phones, whereas the 6280 is an S40

@jaggendn18 - My 6280 was completly unbranded, direct from Nokia, and it was just as buggy.

Its been since the 22nd of march since ive had full use of mine its been sent away three times and i just told my network 3 to poke it up their ass. I officially hate this phone so much so im using my step dads 6680. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WHY DO YOU DO THIS NOKIA. Anyways their exchanging it for the 2nd time today itll b back next wed where it will shortly be placed on ebay or sent to hell either way i reaqlly dont care.

Paul, I had mine replaced once and once I realised it was just as buggy as the first I left it alone and I'm learning (gradually) to accept the faults.

If you keep sending it off, their not going to do anything new to it, your never going to get one that will 'magically' be ok compared to all the other 6280's out there, EVERY SINGLE ONE of Three's 6280's are buggy so if you want to have more use of it rather than keep sending it away, stop sending it away...
