Review: Gennum ZEN Z-470 Bluetooth Headset

The ZEN Z-470 by Gennum is an unusual looking device. It is quite a big headset, and at first I was a little confused as to how it actually goes on the ear. Once I consulted the manual though, it was not nearly as hard a task as I first imagined. The Z-470 only comes in one color (black), and while it does look bulky, it manages to retain a good level of aesthetics. One of the major selling points of the Z-470 is its impressive...

Why in the world did they design it like that? I would imagine it'd look like something's eating up your ear!

I wish Michael had posted up pics as to how it'd look on his ear or something...cause yeah it boggles me!

That review wasn't written by Michael, it was written by Brendan Cartledge, a friend of mine that we are getting to do headset reviews for us now. I'll take a picture of the headset on my ear later so you can see. It stumped us both when I took it out of the box - strangest looking thing I have ever seen.

yeah, it looks very sci - fi, quite odd. It doesnt look so wierd in other pictures (although it was still wierd, just relatively less), I just chose to show that one as it was the strangest of the lot.

Design wise, its not for me. I just want one of those tiny ear plug like ones.
