6280 theme issues

Help, I downloaded a theme for my 6280, it was the L'Amour one as I really like it. When I apply the theme things go wrong. The desktop is left white until I use the active standby then I get a bit of the theme wallpaper under the highlighted part of the screen. The other part is the menu, it still shows the Nokia theme and then when I move the d-pad the icons go all odd. If someone can help me with this or even e-mail me the theme so I can try it then I would be really greatfull. Chees.

I'd like to ask... are you sure that the 6280 theme you downloaded are for a 3rd edition series 40? If memory serves, I think that the l'amour series (along with the black fashion series) are 2nd edition series 40's.

That means that there might be some incompatibilities when you install it.

According to Nokia's site it says the 7370 uses the latest series 40 interface and even on the link you posted it says "The Nokia Series 40 Theme Studio 2.0 supports the new theme technology version 2.0. The product supports the following devices: Nokia 6111, Nokia 6270, Nokia 6280, Nokia 6233 and Nokia 7370"

So the 7370 theme should work... Maybe the person that posted it did it wrong or something, so if anyone can get the the theme from the 7370 I would be really greatful. Cheers

Oh I see... yup, so I guess something may be wrong with the theme itself.

Anyway, check out the series 40 themes on mobile 9, they might have that theme that you're lookin for? Afaik, currently there's not a lot of sites out there that has series 40 themes.

Nope, turns out it's just yet another fault with my 6280. I can't seem to run any themes that I install. The ones preinstalled on the phone work fine but any I install just don't fully "skin" the UI.

Really hating my phone now, more then ever.

Should have just got the N70.
