Any way to make 6280 back light on time longer?

Hi. The back light time on the 6280 is very short,about 10 seconds. I think it is the same on ALL Nokias?. Is there any way to mod the phone, ether by a seem editor FW flash update to make it stay on longer?.There isn't any way (that I can find) to change it on the phone itself, it's not like my V3 which has a max back light on time of 60 seconds. Why oh why can't Nokia do this???

Not all Nokia phones have the backlight time set so short, but there is no way I know of to extend the time on the 6280.

My be sometime later any Application can help us in this, I am too searching for the same.

As for S60 there is an app named "Always light On" which keeps light on till you manually off the app.

This app use to run in backgound.

not sure how it will be for S40 v3.

Where do i get the "Always light on" App from and will it work on the 6280?

I said in my post "for S60" 6280 is not S60 its S40 V3. and SiS files doesnt works on S40.
"Always light on" is for Series 60 Mobiles.
Till yet this app is not yet available for S40 V3

And it won't be - you can't run applications in the background on S40.

That is an application in the phones firmware - the only third party applciations you can run are Java-based, which cannot be run in the background.
