Nokia 3220 message sent tone off??

Hi, wondering if anyone can help me.

Everytime i send a text message with my nokia 3220 it makes the message tone plays which is annoying me. I've tried turning sim info off, keypad tones off, warning messages off etc but nothing seems to turn it off unless I put the phone on silent or turn message tone to off, which i don't want to do, as i want the phone to sound when i recieve a message, just not every time i send one. I also have delivery reports turned off, and save sent messages off, even tho these don't seem to make much difference on or off.

Does anyone know how i can stop this?

It's probably because you have delivery reports turned on and it's beeping to let you know the message has been delivered. So if you turn off delivery reports it shouldn't beep at you.

If you say you've already done it and nothing changes, take the phone in for a look because I don't have any more ideas.

Cheers for your reply, managed to get it sorted, contacted O2 and they said that it may be because after you send a message or call someone a balance update comes up on the screen and the phone I have sees this as an incoming text message (not happened with previous phones) But they've turned that service off for me and now it's sorted.
