LG KV5900 Chocolate Phone US Bound?

LG USA was showing off a Korean market KV5900, the famous "Chocolate" handset that recently spawned the KG800 GSM model for Europe. LG said that we would likely see a US version of the KG800 announced this summer and that it would be slightly different than what we saw in the KV5900 at CTIA. Rumors have suggested that perhaps the white version of the device would be offered in the US. We'll see.

The handset itself is very attractive. The touch sensitive buttons on the upper half of the slider take a bit of getting use to, but seem to perform their function properly even if they offer no physical feedback. The numeric keypad is completely normal and was easy to use. The entire handset weighs about 85g (3oz).

We expect that the US model specs will fall closely in line with the Korean and Euro models, and as such should have a 262k color display, 512MB of internal storage, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and an MP3 player application. Bluetooth support is also in there, but I do not know if the stereo A2DP profile support will be included. We can always hope.
